I would like to talk about a dear ten years old student without any kind of discipline or academic problems but with a big ambition of being the center of the class, and it really turned the class environment so bad.
I started to teach this group 3 classes after it began and there had been problems before, it not only for my dear student self esteem but also for the variety of students’ ages since 10 to 15. It’s worth mentioning that my special student got some troubles with the oldest one, all for the difference in behavior each one fortunately had.
I discovered that because my student started to call me every time and to ask me about every single word, she asked me how to develop each activity immediately after I finish to explain it; it drove mad the others, actually me too:(. Moreover it was hard for her, to the point she didn’t want to continue with the course, because the rest of the class began leaving out her in the entire classroom tasks. Furthermore, the oldest student couldn’t live with this attitude, he changed the room and I had to have works with my darling student’s mother and we could understand her behavior. She studies at a personalized classes’ school with only six or seven students where teachers have a total connection with them. Her mother is so close to her, sharing the majority of their time or calling her each time they’re not together. This is what my lovely student wants or needs from me. Although it’s complex I’m trying not only with her but with everyone, and her mother talked with her and she decided to come back the course. In reality her attitude has changed, a little bit but has changed. Now she’s a lovely pupil with me and sometimes she realizes she’s not on the class good manner and she's not the only student. The problem I can notice is that she has turned into a distracted student :P
